Frandy Tree Aurora
Just past Gleneagles on the road through Glendevon to Dollar is a lone Ash tree that’s a regular stop off for me when visiting the East Coast. And on this evening I was there hoping to capture the Northern Lights over this tree, which I did manage to capture, however! this view of the Frandy Tree is actually facing West as the aurora had fully engulfed the night sky this night (08/10/2024). the entire sky North, South, East and West was flickering away with the aurora for most of the night. and this was one of my favourite shots from around 2000 photos taken on the night.
