St Monans is a beautiful little fishing village in Fife that is steeped in history. One of it’s fascinating historic buildings is the windmill by the old salt pan cottages just a short walk along the beach from the towns harbour. this was the main power source for the local salt pan workers back in the salt production days of the town.
